The SHARKBITE ur334 is a push-to-connect drop-ear elbow fitting that creates a 90-degree transition between push-connect pipe and a female NPT threaded outlet. Made from high-performance DZR lead-free brass with a stainless steel retainer, this fitting is rated to 200 degrees F and 250 psi. It is designed for licensed plumbers and experienced installers working on residential and light commercial water supply systems. No soldering, crimping, glue, or special tools are required. The fitting can be installed on wet lines and pressure tested immediately after connection.

The ur334 is commonly used when installing shower arms and tub spouts, where the fitting mounts to wall blocking or framing and provides a threaded outlet for the fixture arm. It is approved for underground and behind-the-wall applications without access panels. Compatible pipe types include PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE SDR-9. No tube liner is required for PEX. The fitting can be rotated after installation to align the threaded port, and it can be removed using a disconnect clip, disconnect tongs, or a pro disconnect tool.

Installation Notes
