The SHARKBITE UR068A is a push-to-connect transition adapter designed for fast, tool-free pipe connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Built from one-piece DZR brass, this fitting connects a 1/2-inch push-to-connect end to a 3/4-inch female iron pipe (FIP) thread. It carries a 250 psi burst pressure rating and is rated for temperatures up to 200 degrees F. The stainless-steel retainer delivers added grip strength. No solder, glue, unions, or specialty tools are required to make a connection, cutting labor time significantly on rough-in and retrofit work.

This fitting is suited for residential and commercial plumbing applications where a push-connect transition to threaded pipe is needed. It is compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT tubing. Installation Notes
