The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME UC256LFA is a 3/4 inch lead-free brass barb insert elbow designed to join two sections of 3/4 inch cross-linked polyethylene PEX tubing at a 90-degree angle. Built from lead-free brass, this fitting meets NSF/ANSI Standard 14-2009 and ASTM F 1807 for potable water transport, as well as ANSI/NSF Standard 61 Annex G for lead-free compliance. The wetted surface contains less than 0.25% lead by weight, satisfying California AB1953 and Vermont VT S152 low-lead restrictions. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in residential and light commercial PEX plumbing systems.

This elbow is intended for use in PEX piping installations where a 90-degree directional change is required in a 3/4 inch line. It is secured to PEX pipe using compatible cinch clamps with a cinch tool or copper crimp rings with a crimp tool.
