Product Description

The SharkBite UAB600LFA is a PEX-A sweat adapter that transitions 1/2 in. PEX-A tubing to 1/2 in. FSWT copper connections. It uses an expansion barb connection on the PEX-A side and requires a PEX expansion tool and expansion rings for installation. Constructed from DZR lead-free brass, the fitting is certified for potable water and hydronic heating and approved for water service lines and burial including concrete, with specified operating temperature and pressure ratings.

  • DZR lead-free brass construction for corrosion resistance; compatible with PEX-A pipe only
  • Connects 1/2 in. PEX-A (expansion barb, ASTM F1960) to 1/2 in. FSWT copper; requires expansion tool and expansion rings
