The SHARKBITE UA80W100 is a Type-A PEX pipe supplied in roll form, designed for potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Type-A PEX is manufactured using the Engel (peroxide) cross-linking method, which produces the highest degree of cross-linking among PEX types, resulting in greater flexibility and shape memory compared to Type-B or Type-C alternatives. This roll format is suited for licensed plumbers installing supply lines, manifold-based home-run systems, or radiant floor heating loops.

Type-A PEX pipe in roll form is commonly used in residential new construction and retrofit plumbing projects where long, continuous runs are needed without joints.
