This sleeve works exclusively with PEX-A pipe and is designed to be used alongside a PEX expansion tool and compatible expansion rings to form a mechanical connection. As the expanded pipe memory returns to its original diameter, it compresses tightly around the fitting, creating a joint that increases in holding strength over time.
