The SHARKBITE CASH ACME U870W25 is a 3/4-inch CTS (Copper Tube Size) PEX-B pipe coil, 25 feet in length, in white. Manufactured using the Type B silane cross-linking method, this pipe contains elevated levels of anti-oxidants and thermal stabilizers, making it well-suited for chlorinated water systems and recirculation loops. It carries a burst pressure rating of 1,100 psi at 73 degrees F and 375 psi at 180 degrees F. The coil is designed for potable hot and cold water distribution in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Licensed plumbers are the primary installers of this product.

This PEX-B coil is intended for hot and cold potable water distribution in residential and light commercial applications. It is compatible with 3/4-inch Quick Connect and brass PEX insert fittings. The silane-method cross-linking used in Type B pipe provides strong resistance to chlorine degradation, which is particularly important in municipal water supplies and recirculation systems. Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting or connecting pipe. Support pipe every 30 inches vertically and horizontally, and protect the pipe where it enters or exits slabs or walls. Do not use duct tape, pipe dope, threading compound, or mineral or linseed oil with this pipe. Maintain minimum clearances: 18 inches from water heaters, boilers, and wood-burning appliances; 12 inches from recessed lights; 6 inches from gas appliance vents. Do not kink the pipe or expose it to direct sunlight.
