Product Description

The SHARKBITE U335LFA is a lead-free, push-fit 90-degree ear elbow designed for fast, reliable connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Constructed of DZR brass, this fitting accepts 1/2-inch connections on both ends and uses SharkBite push-to-connect technology, eliminating the need for soldering, clamps, or unions in most applications. An integral tube liner is included to support use with PEX tubing. The fitting is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both potable water and hydronic distribution lines. The ear bracket allows direct mounting to framing, keeping supply lines secure and code-compliant.

This elbow is used in new construction and retrofit plumbing work where quick, permanent connections are needed in tight or enclosed spaces. It is compatible with copper tubing (copper tube size), CPVC, and PEX pipe. The ear-style mounting bracket is particularly useful when securing stub-out supply lines for faucets, valves, or fixture supplies in walls or framing before drywall installation. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the IPC, UPC, or applicable local code. Shut off water supply and depressurize the line before cutting into existing pipe. Ensure pipe ends are cut cleanly and squarely and deburred before inserting into the push-fit connection. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits in service.
