The SHARKBITE CASH ACME U334LFA is a 1/2 inch push-fit drop ear elbow with a 1/2 inch female iron pipe (FIP) outlet, constructed from dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass. It ships with an integral tube liner already included. The fitting installs without solvents, clamps, or open flame, making it a fast, reliable connection for residential and light commercial plumbing rough-in and repair work. It is rated to 200 psi and 200 degrees F, certified lead free under Federal Law 111-380, and design-certified to ASSE 1061 and NSF 61 standards. Licensed plumbers and experienced pipefitters are the primary installers.

The U334LFA is used in potable water and hydronic water distribution systems. It is compatible with copper tubing (copper tube size), CPVC, and PEX pipe. The drop ear configuration allows the fitting to be surface-mounted or wall-bracketed, positioning the FIP outlet flush for a fixture supply connection. It is also certified for underground applications as a manufactured joint, eliminating the requirement for an access panel at that connection point. Installation Notes
