The SHARKBITE u088lf is a 3/4-inch push-to-connect by 3/4-inch female NPT (FNPT) transition adapter made from lead-free DZR brass. It allows a direct connection between a push-fit pipe end and a female threaded fitting or valve without soldering, clamps, glue, or specialty tools. Stainless steel gripping teeth bite into the pipe on insertion while a compression O-ring creates a watertight seal. Rated to 200 degrees F and 200 psi, this adapter is suited for potable water supply and hydronic heating systems.
