The SHARKBITE U016LFA is a 3/4-inch by 3/4-inch lead-free push-fit coupling designed for fast, tool-free connections on copper CTS, CPVC, and PEX tubing. Constructed from DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, this fitting is rated to 200 PSI and 200 degrees F, making it suitable for both potable water and hydronic distribution systems. An integral tube liner is included, providing a secure internal stop and consistent flow path when connecting to PEX tubing. Licensed plumbers and experienced pipe fitters install this fitting in new construction and repair work where a reliable, code-compliant joint is required without soldering or crimping tools.

The U016LFA is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable plumbing code (UPC, IPC, or local equivalent). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into an existing line. Ensure pipe ends are cut square, deburred, and clean before insertion into the fitting. When connecting PEX tubing, insert the included tube liner into the pipe end before pushing into the fitting to maintain proper support and seal.
