The SHARKBITE u006lf is a push-to-connect coupling designed for joining 3/8-inch pipe with a 1/2-inch OD in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Internal stainless steel teeth grip the pipe on insertion, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to form a leak-free seal. No soldering, crimping tools, clamps, or solvent cement required. The fitting can be rotated after assembly to ease routing in confined spaces, and it can be disconnected and reused with a standard SharkBite disconnect clip or removal tool.
