The SharkBite ProLock Reducing 90 Degree Elbow, MPN PSEI212820E, connects Copper, PEX, or CPVC pipes without the need for solder, glue, or tools. This fitting employs a collet with stainless steel teeth that grips the pipe upon insertion, ensuring a secure connection. It features an EPDM O-ring for a leak-proof seal. To lock the fitting in place, twist the cap, which produces an audible click, confirming the secure fit. Removing the pipe is also straightforward; simply twist the cap counterclockwise to release and press the collet to detach the pipe.
