The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME UC518LFA is a 3/4 inch lead free brass barb insert plug designed for pressure testing 3/4 inch cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing systems. The barbed end seats into 3/4 inch PEX pipe and is secured using cinch clamps with a cinch tool or copper crimp rings with a crimp tool. Once installed, the line is immediately testable to well over 100 psi, making it a reliable choice for pre-commissioning leak checks on potable water systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters typically install this fitting during rough-in inspection stages before walls are closed.

This plug is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where PEX tubing is used for potable water distribution. It is compatible with 3/4 inch PEX pipe secured with TV 608-826 cinch clamps and TV 608-743 cinch tool, or standard copper crimp rings and crimp tool.
