The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME UC412LFA10 is a lead free brass barb insert tee designed for cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing installations. It creates a 1/2 inch branch off a 3/4 inch main run, making it a common fitting for residential and light commercial hot and cold water distribution systems. Each fitting is immediately testable to well over 100 psi after installation. The wetted surface contains less than 0.25% lead by weight, meeting AB1953 California and VT S152 Vermont low lead restrictions. This listing includes 10 fittings per pack. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this fitting type.

This tee is intended for use with cross-linked polyethylene PEX tubing in potable water supply systems. The 1/2 inch barb end connects to 1/2 inch PEX pipe and the two 3/4 inch barb ends connect to 3/4 inch PEX pipe. Secure the 1/2 inch barb end using TV 608-933 cinch clamps with the TV 608-743 cinch tool, or copper crimp rings with a crimp tool. Secure the 3/4 inch barb ends using TV 608-826 cinch clamps with the TV 608-743 cinch tool, or copper crimp rings with a crimp tool. Suitable for residential and light commercial potable water distribution.

Compatibility

Installation Notes
