Sharkbite 25553LF 3-port Pex Manifold

Product Description

The SHARKBITE 25553LF is a 3-port PEX manifold designed for residential and light commercial plumbing distribution systems. It provides a centralized connection point for PEX tubing runs, allowing multiple supply lines to branch from a single source. The lead-free construction meets modern potable water standards. Plumbers and plumbing contractors install this manifold in utility rooms, mechanical spaces, or within dedicated manifold enclosures as part of a home-run PEX distribution layout. Its push-to-connect compatibility simplifies rough-in and reduces fitting count at the manifold location.

This manifold is suited for new construction and retrofit plumbing projects where PEX tubing is the chosen distribution method. It supports a home-run configuration, where each fixture receives a dedicated branch line run directly from the manifold. This approach reduces fittings in the wall, minimizes pressure drop at individual fixtures, and simplifies future service or shutoff at a single centralized location. Licensed plumbers commonly specify this type of manifold in residential builds and remodel projects transitioning from copper or CPVC to PEX.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the main water supply and depressurize the system before making any connections. Ensure PEX tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that tube ends are fully seated in push-to-connect ports before restoring pressure. Pressure-test the completed manifold assembly per local code requirements before closing walls or enclosures.
