The SHARKBITE 24763 is a two-valve recessed washing machine outlet box built for residential plumbing installations. Constructed from brass, the box uses push-to-connect technology to eliminate soldering, crimping, or glue during installation. Quarter-turn shut-offs on the hot and cold ports give plumbers and installers direct control over the water supply to the washing machine. The one-piece recessed design keeps valves flush with the wall, and a snap-on faceplate accommodates drywall up to 0.75 inches thick. This box includes hot and cold 0.5-inch push-to-connect by 0.75-inch MHT valves, a faceplate cover, and two support brackets.

This outlet box is suited for new construction and remodel applications in residential laundry rooms. Mounting brackets allow the box to be positioned at the left, center, or right of a standard stud bay without additional support framing. The drain knockout is compatible with left, right, or center drain configurations. Plumbers typically install this unit during rough-in, though the push-to-connect design also makes it practical for service replacements. It is compatible with copper, CPVC, and PEX supply lines.
