The SGS PRO 19026 is a tungsten carbide abrasive bur with an SC-3NF industry specification, featuring a ball nose cylinder head geometry designed for material removal in non-ferrous and soft materials. The 3/8 inch cutting diameter and 3/4 inch length of cut allow controlled stock removal in confined areas. With a 1/4 inch shank and 2.5 inch overall length, this bur fits standard die grinders and rotary tools used in fabrication, machining, and finishing work. The Aluma Cut tooth style is engineered to minimize clogging and produce a clean, fast cut in soft materials. Licensed machinists, tool and die makers, and metalworkers are the primary users of this type of bur.
This bur is suited for deburring, shaping, and finishing operations on titanium, copper, copper alloys, aluminum, and plastic. The ball nose cylinder profile is commonly used to blend radii, remove casting flash, and prepare weld areas where a rounded profile is needed. It performs in both bench-mounted and handheld rotary tool setups and is appropriate for light-duty production or maintenance and repair applications across fabrication shops, aerospace, and plumbing and HVAC component prep work.
Compatible with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/4 inch shank. Suitable for use on titanium, copper, copper alloys, aluminum, and plastic workpieces per the SC-3NF specification.
Install and remove burs only with the rotary tool fully powered off and unplugged or air supply disconnected. Verify the collet size matches the 1/4 inch shank before tightening. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow the tool manufacturer's maximum RPM rating, which must not exceed the 37,500 RPM rating of this bur. Inspect the bur for cracks or damage before each use and do not use on ferrous metals, as the Aluma Cut geometry is not designed for steel or cast iron.
