The SGS PRO 19008 is a tungsten carbide abrasive bur in the SA-7NF cylinder profile, designed for material removal and finishing on non-ferrous metals and plastics. It features an Aluma Cut tooth style, which is engineered specifically for softer materials where a standard double-cut tooth would load up or chatter. The bur has a cutting diameter of 0.75 inches, a 1-inch length of cut, an overall length of 2.75 inches, and a 1/4-inch shank diameter. Maximum rated speed is 19,000 RPM. Machinists, fabricators, and tool and die technicians reach for this style when deburring, porting, or shaping non-ferrous workpieces.
This bur is suited for use on titanium, copper, copper alloys, aluminum, and plastic. Common applications include deburring cast aluminum housings, cleaning up copper tubing ends, smoothing plastic components, and porting or reshaping non-ferrous workpieces. It fits any rotary tool, die grinder, or flex-shaft machine with a 1/4-inch collet. The cylinder head profile produces flat-bottomed cuts and is well suited for working inside slots, pockets, and flat-surfaced recesses.
Fits any die grinder, rotary tool, or flex-shaft handpiece equipped with a 1/4-inch collet. Intended for use on non-ferrous materials including aluminum, titanium, copper, copper alloys, and plastic.
Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, or maintenance technicians using a standard die grinder collet wrench. Always power down and disconnect the tool from air or electricity before changing burs. Do not exceed the rated 19,000 RPM maximum speed. Secure the workpiece before operation and wear appropriate eye and hand protection per shop safety standards.
