The SGS PRO 18263 is a 10-piece double cut tungsten carbide burr set designed for material removal, deburring, shaping, and grinding in metalworking and fabrication applications. The set includes ten head shapes: Ball, Cone, Cone with Radius End, Cylinder, Cylinder Ball End, Cylinder with End Cut, Flame, Oval, Tree, and Tree with Radius End. All burrs feature a 1/8 inch shank diameter and an overall length of 1-1/2 inches. The double cut tooth pattern removes material faster than single cut and leaves a finer finish, making this set useful across a wide range of contouring and surface prep tasks. Licensed machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users.
This burr set is suited for use with die grinders and rotary tools in both shop and field environments. Applications include weld cleanup, port matching, mold work, casting finishing, and precision deburring on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The variety of head shapes in this set allows a single technician to handle curved surfaces, flat faces, inside radii, and narrow channel work without swapping to a different set. It is appropriate for light industrial and maintenance, repair, and operations work where multiple burr geometries are needed in one kit.
Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 1/8 inch collet. Suitable for cutting and shaping ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and similar hard materials in standard fabrication and maintenance applications.
Burrs are installed and removed by machinists or fabricators using standard collet wrenches on a die grinder or rotary tool. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its air or electrical supply before changing burrs. Ensure the shank is fully seated in the collet and the collet nut is tightened to the tool manufacturer specification before operation. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required when operating rotary cutting tools.
