The SGS PRO 13925 is a tungsten carbide abrasive bur with a tree-and-pointed-end head geometry and a single-cut tooth pattern. It mounts on a 1/4-inch shank and delivers a cutting diameter of 0.5 inches over a 1-inch length of cut. Total overall length is 2.75 inches. Designed for metalworking applications, this bur is used in die grinders and rotary tools for deburring, contouring, and material removal on a wide range of metals. The uncoated tungsten carbide head provides consistent cutting performance up to 28,000 RPM, making it well-suited for high-speed hand-tool work in fabrication and maintenance environments.
This bur is intended for use by machinists, fabricators, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance technicians who require precise material removal on hard and exotic metals. Its SG-5 industry specification positions it for demanding cutting tasks across both shop and field settings. The tree-with-pointed-end profile allows access to contoured surfaces, grooves, and tight internal radii where flat or cylindrical burs cannot reach.
Rated for use on steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, cermet, nickel, copper, and copper alloys. Fits any die grinder or rotary tool accepting a 1/4-inch shank.
Install in a die grinder or rotary tool with a matching 1/4-inch collet. Ensure the tool is powered off and fully stopped before inserting or removing the bur. Secure the shank fully into the collet and tighten per the tool manufacturer's guidance before operation. Wear appropriate eye protection and hearing protection when operating at high RPM.
