The SGS PRO 13200 is a single-cut oval abrasive bur designed for material removal, deburring, and contouring in metalworking applications. Built with a tungsten carbide head, it delivers consistent cutting performance across a broad range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The bur features a 3/16 inch cutting diameter and a 1/8 inch shank diameter, with an overall length of 1.5 inches. It is rated for up to 75,000 RPM, making it well-suited for use with high-speed rotary tools and die grinders. Machinists, fabricators, and tool-and-die professionals are the primary installers of this type of tooling.
This oval bur is used in applications requiring precise material removal in confined or curved workpiece surfaces. The SE-53 industry specification identifies the head shape and size classification. The 9/32 inch length of cut provides sufficient contact area for efficient stock removal without sacrificing control. It is commonly used in production and maintenance environments for deburring, porting, and surface finishing on steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, cermet, nickel, copper, and copper alloys.
Compatible with rotary tools and die grinders accepting a 1/8 inch shank collet. Suitable for use on steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, cermet, nickel, copper, and copper alloys per manufacturer material application data.
This bur is installed by machinists and metalworking professionals using standard collet-chuck rotary or pneumatic die grinder equipment. Secure the 1/8 inch shank fully into the collet before operation and confirm the tool is rated for the intended RPM before running. Always wear appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece before engaging the bur. Do not exceed the 75,000 RPM maximum rating, and allow the tool to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece.
