The SGS PRO 13150 is a single-cut tungsten carbide abrasive bur in the SE-41 oval head geometry, designed for precision material removal on a wide range of metals. With a 1/8-inch shank diameter and a cutting diameter of 0.125 inches, this bur fits standard die grinders and rotary tools used in machining, fabrication, and finishing operations. The oval head profile allows access to contoured surfaces, cavities, and radiused slots where flat or cylindrical tools cannot reach. Rated to 100,000 RPM, it delivers consistent stock removal without premature wear under high-speed operation. Licensed trades and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users.
This bur is suited for deburring, blending, porting, and surface preparation on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The SE-41 oval form is commonly applied in weld cleanup, mold finishing, and internal contour work. It performs across a broad material range including steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, cermet, nickel, copper, and copper alloys. The uncoated tungsten carbide head provides direct cutting contact without coating buildup on sticky or stringy materials such as copper and nickel alloys.
Compatible with die grinders, rotary tools, and flexible shaft machines equipped with a 1/8-inch collet. Suitable for use on steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, cast iron, titanium, cermet, nickel, copper, and copper alloys as stated by the manufacturer.
Installation is performed by machinists, fabricators, and tooling technicians using a standard die grinder or rotary tool with a 1/8-inch collet. Ensure the workpiece is secured and the tool is fully seated and tightened in the collet before operation. Always confirm the tool RPM rating meets or exceeds the rated speed of the bur before use. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating rotary cutting tools.
