The SGS 77147 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance finishing operations in demanding materials. Built on the Series 77C platform, it features a 3/8-inch mill diameter, 7-flute configuration, and a 0.03-inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and wear resistance required for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. A TiN coating adds surface hardness and reduces friction at the cutting interface. At 0.05 pounds, the tool is lightweight and balances well in high-speed spindle setups. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary installers of this tool.

The SGS 77147 is suited for finishing passes in ferrous and exotic alloy workpieces, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and superalloys and titanium. Installation Notes
