The SGS 44845 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals. Part of the Series 43ME line, it features a 6 mm cutting diameter, a 24 mm length of cut, and a 1.00 mm corner radius (0.0394 inches). The TiB2 (Ti-NAMITE-B) coating reduces friction and extends tool life when working aluminum, copper, brass, and similar materials. With three helical flutes and a coarse pitch, it is optimized for roughing operations where material removal rate matters. Overall length is 75 mm with a 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank. This tool is installed in a standard end mill holder and used by machinists in job shops, production facilities, and toolrooms.

This end mill is suited for roughing passes on non-ferrous metals in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The extra-long length type and 24 mm reach make it practical for pocketing, slotting, and profiling applications where additional clearance is needed.
