The SGS 39611 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in ferrous and non-ferrous machining applications. The cutter measures 0.1094 inches (7/64 inch) in diameter with a 3/16 inch length of cut and a 1/8 inch straight cylindrical shank. Overall length is 1.5 inches, placing it in the stub length category. The micrograin carbide substrate and titanium carbonitride (TiCN) finish deliver wear resistance and edge retention at elevated cutting speeds. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece.

This end mill is suited for milling, slotting, and contouring operations across a range of workpiece materials, including cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, stainless steel, steel, superalloys, and high-temperature materials, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S.
