The SGS 39363 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metalworking and machining applications. It features a 0.5 inch mill diameter with a 1 inch length of cut and a 30-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The tool is TiN coated, which extends tool life by increasing surface hardness and reducing friction during cutting. With 2 flutes and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, it is suited for general-purpose slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling. It is centercutting, allowing plunge entry into the workpiece. Micrograin carbide construction delivers the hardness and wear resistance needed in demanding production environments.
This end mill is built for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where tight tolerances and consistent performance are required. The straight cylindrical shank diameter of 0.5 inches fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in shop environments.
