The SGS 39113 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of materials. It features a 4-flute, right-hand spiral configuration with a 30-degree helix angle and a TiN (titanium nitride) finish that extends tool life in demanding cutting environments. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, adding versatility to slotting, profiling, and pocket milling applications. Built from micrograin solid carbide, this tool delivers the rigidity and edge retention required for tight-tolerance work. It is installed and used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals operating CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for milling operations in residential shop, production, and job shop environments. The 7/64 inch diameter and 3/8 inch length of cut make it appropriate for fine detail work, narrow slots, and small-pocket machining. The variable index flute geometry helps reduce harmonic vibration during cutting. Primary workpiece material compatibility codes include H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering a broad spectrum of ferrous alloys, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and cast materials. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard collet and end mill holders with a 1/8 inch bore.
Compatible with standard 1/8 inch bore collets and end mill holders used on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Suitable for workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S as designated by the supplier.
This tool should be installed and run by qualified machinists following the machine tool manufacturer's speed and feed guidelines for the workpiece material. Secure the shank fully within the collet or holder and verify runout before beginning the cut. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use and replace the tool if edge condition is compromised. Do not exceed the rated length of cut of 3/8 inch during full-depth passes.
