The SGS 39089 is a 6-piece, 4-flute square end mill set machined from micrograin solid carbide and finished with a TiCN (Titanium Carbonitride) coating. Each mill in the set features a single-end, centercutting design that allows plunge cuts as well as standard peripheral milling. The TiCN coating increases surface hardness and reduces friction, extending tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. With mill diameters spanning 1/8 inch through 1/2 inch, this set covers the most common light-to-medium material removal tasks encountered in a production or toolroom environment.

This set is suited for milling operations on machining centers, CNC mills, and manual knee mills in job shops, production facilities, and tool and die environments.
