The SGS 39051 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision metal removal in demanding machining operations. It features a 0.4063-inch cutting diameter, a 1-inch length of cut, and a 0.4375-inch straight-cylindrical shank. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral design with a 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting performance. A TiCN coating reduces friction and extends tool life across a range of workpiece materials. The micrograin carbide substrate provides the hardness and edge retention required for production milling environments. This tool is single-end and center-cutting, making it suitable for plunge entry and side milling operations.

This end mill is suited for milling ferrous and non-ferrous metals including cast iron, aluminum, steel alloys, heat-resistant superalloys, and non-metallic materials, corresponding to ISO material groups H, K, M, N, P, and S.
