The SGS 39013 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of metallic and non-metallic workpiece materials. With a 7/64 inch (0.1094 inch) mill diameter and a 3/8 inch length of cut, this tool handles slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling in tight-tolerance applications. The micrograin carbide substrate and TiCN coating provide wear resistance and surface hardness suited to demanding cutting environments. Four spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. A right-hand cut and right-hand flute configuration is standard. This end mill is used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working with CNC machining centers and manual mills.
The SGS 39013 is suited for milling operations on materials including high-temperature alloys, cast iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, steel, and titanium-group materials, corresponding to ISO material groups H, K, M, N, P, and S. The 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collets and end mill holders. Its regular-length, non-extended-reach geometry makes it appropriate for conventional cavity milling, profiling, and slotting where deep reach is not required. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece.

Installation and use of this end mill should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify collet condition and confirm the shank is seated and torqued to the tool holder manufacturer specifications before cutting. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine guarding requirements during operation.
