The SGS 36790 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining applications. It features a 5/8 inch cutting diameter with a 0.04 inch corner radius, 4 helical flutes, and a 3/4 inch length of cut. The tool is finished with an AlTiN (TX) coating that improves heat resistance and extends tool life in abrasive and hard materials. Part of the ZD1CR series, it is built for both roughing and finishing operations with a variable helix and variable index geometry that reduces harmonic vibration during cutting. Overall length is 5.5 inches with a 5/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
