The SGS 36345 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for finishing operations in demanding metal-cutting applications. It features a 0.3125-inch (5/16-inch) mill diameter, a 0.8125-inch length of cut, and a 2.5-inch overall length with a matching 5/16-inch shank diameter. The four-flute, single-end geometry is paired with a variable helix and variable index design, which reduces harmonic vibration and chatter during high-feed passes. An AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting hard and abrasive workpiece materials. The micrograin carbide substrate supports the tight tolerances required in precision finishing work.
