The SGS 35683 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for precision material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. Built on the Series 43CR platform, it features a 3/8 inch mill diameter, a 1-1/2 inch length of cut, and a 0.0150 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge. The tool carries a TiB2 (Ti-NAMITE-B) coating and a 38-degree high helix angle, both of which support chip evacuation and surface finish in aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals rely on this geometry for long-reach slotting and profiling passes where edge integrity is critical.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills running non-ferrous stock. The coarse-pitch, three-flute spiral geometry supports roughing operations where chip load and material removal rate are the primary concerns. The straight cylindrical shank is compatible with standard end mill toolholders. With a 4 inch overall length and a long-length classification, it is well-suited for deeper cavity work and applications requiring extended reach beyond standard-length tooling.

Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with CNC or manual milling equipment. Ensure the toolholder and spindle are clean and free of runout before seating the shank. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and cut depth.
