The SGS 35633 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1-5/8 inch length of cut, and a 0.19 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in demanding milling operations. The 3-flute, right-hand helical geometry with a coarse pitch is configured for roughing passes, prioritizing chip clearance and aggressive stock removal. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3/4 inch in diameter and seats into standard end mill holders. Machinists and CNC operators working with aluminum, copper, brass, and similar non-ferrous materials will find this tool well suited to roughing applications where controlled corner geometry is required.
The SGS 35633 is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills processing non-ferrous metals. Its Series 43CR geometry and high helix style promote efficient chip evacuation, which is critical when cutting softer, gummier materials that tend to load flutes. The single-end, centercutting-capable configuration allows plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling. The uncoated bright finish is standard for non-ferrous work where coatings such as TiN or TiAlN could cause material adhesion issues.
Designed for use with standard end mill holders accepting a 3/4 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material is non-ferrous metal per Series 43CR application guidelines.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in an e-stop or tool-change state. Seat the shank fully into the end mill holder and torque the set screw or collet nut to the holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating the first cut. Proper speeds and feeds for the specific non-ferrous alloy being machined should be confirmed against the manufacturer cutting data before operation.
