The SGS 35300 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling of non-ferrous metals. With a 1/16 inch (0.0625 inch) cutting diameter and a 3/16 inch length of cut, this tool handles slotting, profiling, and finishing passes in tight geometries. The two-flute configuration promotes chip evacuation in softer materials, while the 30-degree helix angle reduces cutting forces and improves surface finish. A TiCN coating adds surface hardness and wear resistance. The micrograin carbide substrate maintains edge integrity at elevated cutting speeds. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling technicians.
This end mill is suited for milling aluminum, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous metals in both manual and CNC machining environments. The 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collets and end mill holders used in vertical machining centers, CNC routers, and knee mills. The regular length profile and single-end design make it a straightforward drop-in for precision detail work and small-feature machining operations where cutting diameter control is critical.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, routers, and manual knee mills equipped with 1/8 inch collets or end mill holders; primary application is non-ferrous metal stock (material code N).
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder and torque the retention mechanism per the machine or holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut.
