Product Description

The SGS 35150 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding machining environments. It features a 1/4-inch mill diameter, a 0.03-inch corner radius, and 6 helical flutes with a high helix angle of 41 degrees. The TX coating provides wear resistance during cuts in hard and abrasive materials. With a 3/4-inch length of cut and 2.5-inch overall length, this single-end tool is built for precision finishing passes where edge integrity and surface finish quality are critical. It is used with standard end mill holders and has a straight cylindrical shank.

This end mill is suited for finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The close pitch and variable index geometry help reduce chatter and improve surface finish in tight-tolerance applications. It is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers handling aerospace, die and mold, and general precision manufacturing work where consistent corner geometry and dimensional accuracy are required.

Installation Notes

Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Confirm shank diameter and holder bore compatibility before seating the tool. Do not use this tool for centercutting operations, as this is a non-centercutting design.
