The SGS 35101 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in a wide range of metalworking applications. It features a 3/8-inch cutting diameter, a 1-inch length of cut, and six spiral flutes with a 41-degree helix angle. The variable index flute geometry reduces harmonic vibration during cutting, improving surface finish and tool life. A titanium nitride (TiN) coating increases surface hardness and wear resistance. The straight cylindrical shank measures 3/8 inch in diameter, and overall length is 2.5 inches. This end mill is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry into the workpiece. It is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators in production and job shop environments.

The SGS 35101 is suited for milling operations on a broad spectrum of workpiece materials, including high-temperature alloys, cast irons, stainless steels, carbon and alloy steels, and titanium-group materials, as reflected by its primary material codes H, K, M, P, and S.
