The SGS 34833 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-precision material removal in machining operations. Built to Series 43 specifications, it features a 5/8-inch cutting diameter, a 2-1/8-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length. The three-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The centercutting design allows plunge entry directly into the workpiece. This tool is used by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, production environments, and precision fabrication settings.
The SGS 34833 is optimized for non-ferrous metals and similar materials where a sharp, uncoated solid carbide edge performs well. Its straight cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance fits standard collets and end mill holders. The regular-length profile suits the majority of milling applications where extended reach is not required. This tool is suited for both conventional and climb milling passes on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use end mill compatible with standard 5/8-inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Verify collet or holder runout is within acceptable tolerance before running at speed. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety protocols when setting tool length offsets and cutting parameters.
