The 3-flute geometry paired with a 38-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action in materials such as aluminum, brass, and copper. A TiB2 (titanium diboride) coating improves surface hardness and reduces built-up edge on non-ferrous workpieces. This tool is suited for CNC machining centers and manual milling operations where close-tolerance work is required.

The SGS 34729 is intended for milling non-ferrous metals in both production and job-shop environments.
