The SGS 34682 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise milling of non-ferrous metals and similar materials. With a 0.625-inch (5/8 inch) mill diameter and a 0.750-inch length of cut, this tool delivers consistent, accurate results in production and job-shop environments. The TiB2 (titanium diboride) coating reduces friction and helps maintain edge integrity during high-speed cuts. A 35-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smoother cutting action. This is a single-end, centercutting tool, meaning it can plunge directly into a workpiece as well as perform peripheral milling. The SGS 34682 is intended for use on non-ferrous metals, the primary workpiece material category for Series 47E tooling.
