The SGS 33322 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for precision milling operations across a wide range of workpiece materials. With a 0.1875 inch (3/16 inch) mill diameter and a 1.125 inch length of cut, this tool is built for extra-long reach applications where standard-length end mills cannot access deep features. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the micrograin carbide construction provides the edge retention needed for consistent results. It is a single-end, right-hand cutting tool intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills operated by skilled machinists and tooling professionals.
This end mill suits applications involving ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and composite materials, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. The extra-long overall length of 3 inches makes it appropriate for deep-pocket milling, contour work, and 3D profiling where extended reach is required. It ships as a single unit and is applicable in job shop, production, and tool-and-die environments.
Designed for use with standard 3/16 inch collets and tool holders compatible with right-hand cutting end mills. Suitable for workpiece materials classified under SGS material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S, which cover a broad range of ferrous, non-ferrous, exotic, and composite materials. Part of the SGS Series 3ELB extra-long ball end mill family.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and de-energized before changing tooling. Verify that the collet or tool holder is rated for the 3/16 inch shank diameter and that runout is within acceptable limits before beginning a cut. Consult the machine manufacturer and applicable shop safety standards for proper speeds, feeds, and depth-of-cut parameters appropriate to the workpiece material.
