The SGS 33135 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. With a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 3 inch length of cut, and a 6 inch overall length, this tool is classified as an extra-long configuration suitable for deep-cavity and extended-reach milling operations. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 30-degree helix angle supports efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. Micrograin carbide construction provides the hardness and wear resistance required for consistent performance across a range of workpiece materials. This end mill is centercutting, allowing direct plunge entry into the workpiece.
The 33135 is suited for milling applications involving cast iron, non-ferrous metals, steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and other materials corresponding to ISO material groups H, K, M, N, P, and S. The extra-long length makes it appropriate for deep-slot milling, profiling, and contouring operations where standard-length tools cannot reach. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 3/4 inch diameter fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. This tool is used by machinists and tool-and-die professionals in job shops and production environments.
Designed for use with ISO material groups H, K, M, N, P, and S, covering cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, stainless steel, general steels, and superalloys. Fits standard 3/4 inch collet chucks and end mill holders. Part of the SGS Series 1EL extra-long end mill line.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine powered down and locked out per applicable safety procedures. Ensure the shank is fully seated and properly torqued in the tool holder before operation. Inspect the collet or chuck for wear before mounting, as runout at the holder directly affects tool life and cut quality. Follow the machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety standards when setting speeds and feeds for carbide end mills.
