The SGS 32707 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling of non-ferrous metals. It features a 0.375-inch cutting diameter, a 0.5-inch length of cut, and a 38-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The micrograin carbide construction delivers rigidity and wear resistance in demanding machining environments. At 4 inches overall length with a 1.125-inch reach length, this is a long-reach tool suited for applications where standard-length end mills cannot access the workpiece. It ships bright and uncoated, ready for direct use in compatible toolholders. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is built for milling non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, and similar materials. The 38-degree spiral flute geometry and right-hand cut with right-hand flute direction make it well suited for climb or conventional milling passes on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The long-reach configuration allows the tool to reach into deep pockets or past obstructions where a standard-length end mill would not clear. The Series 43L designation identifies this tool within the SGS extended-reach product line.
Designed for use in standard straight-cylindrical 3/8-inch toolholders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Primary workpiece material class is non-ferrous metal (material code N). Part of the SGS Series 43L extended-reach end mill line.
This tool is installed by machinists and CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling. Ensure the shank is fully seated and secured in the toolholder collet or end mill holder to the manufacturer-specified engagement depth before running. Do not exceed the recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and tool diameter; consult published cutting data for non-ferrous applications at this diameter and helix angle.
