The SGS 31886 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding production environments. Built on the Series 1EL extra-long platform, it features a 0.5-inch cutting diameter, a 3-inch length of cut, and a 6-inch overall length, making it well-suited for deep-pocket and extended-reach milling operations. The tool carries an AlTiN coating for heat resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. Four spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle and a variable index configuration promote smooth chip evacuation and reduce harmonic vibration during the cut.
