The SGS 30317 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precise material removal in milling operations. It features a 9/64-inch (0.1406-inch) cutting diameter and a 1/2-inch length of cut, making it well suited for light profiling, slotting, and contouring in tight geometries. The tool is single-end, centercutting, and ground from micrograin carbide stock for edge retention under demanding cycle conditions. A 30-degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation while the 2-flute configuration provides clearance for moderate chip loads. The shank measures 3/16 inch in diameter with a straight-cylindrical profile for standard collet or end mill holder retention. Overall length is 2 inches. The bright, uncoated finish is suitable for a broad range of workpiece materials.
