The SGS 30009 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built from micrograin carbide and coated with AlTiN for extended tool life at elevated temperatures, this single-end mill features 4 flutes with a 30-degree right-hand helix. The 19/64-inch (0.2969 inches) cutting diameter and 13/16-inch length of cut make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations where tight tolerances and clean finishes are required. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry. Variable index flute spacing reduces harmonic chatter during aggressive cuts.

This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where a straight-cylindrical shank with a 5/16-inch diameter fits standard toolholders. The AlTiN coating and micrograin carbide substrate support dry or minimum-quantity-lubrication cutting in a range of workpiece materials, including cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, and carbon steels. Installation Notes
