The SGS 07395 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board fabrication and related electronic assembly work. It features a 130-degree four facet point geometry that reduces thrust and produces clean entry holes with minimal burring. The uncoated solid carbide construction delivers the rigidity and dimensional accuracy required at this scale. With a wire gauge size of No. 31, a decimal diameter of 0.1200 inches, and an overall length of 1.5 inches, this bit is suited for close-tolerance drilling where location accuracy and hole quality are critical. It is installed and run by machinists and electronics fabrication technicians.
This bit is applicable across a broad range of materials including aluminum, cast iron, copper alloy, stainless steel, titanium, cobalt alloy, nickel, plastics, and fiber-reinforced polymers. The regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle supports efficient chip evacuation in both metallic and non-metallic substrates. It is well suited to CNC drilling operations in both production and prototype PCB environments where consistent hole sizing and straight entry are required.
Designed for use in CNC and precision drilling machines that accept a 0.1250-inch (1/8 inch) straight shank. Compatible with workpiece materials including aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium as specified by the manufacturer for Series 105.
This drill bit is installed by machinists or electronics fabrication technicians operating CNC drilling equipment or precision drill presses. Ensure the machine spindle and collet are clean and true before chucking the 0.1250-inch shank to prevent runout. Disconnect and lock out power to the machine before changing bits. Do not exceed the feed and speed parameters recommended for the specific workpiece material, as solid carbide bits at this diameter are brittle and susceptible to breakage from lateral load.
