The SGS 07393 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit engineered for precision drilling in printed circuit boards and other tight-tolerance applications. It measures 2.95 mm (0.1161 inches) in diameter with a 1/8-inch (3.18 mm) shank diameter and an overall length of 1.5 inches (38.10 mm). The 130-degree four-facet point geometry reduces thrust and walking at entry, while the 30-degree helix angle and regular spiral promote clean chip evacuation. This is a heavy-duty grade, uncoated, right-hand cut bit suited for use in CNC drilling machines and precision drill presses.
The SGS 07393 is appropriate for drilling in a wide range of materials including aluminum, cast iron, cobalt alloy, copper alloy, fiber-reinforced polymers, nickel, plastics, stainless steel, and titanium. Its compact flute length of 10.16 mm (0.40 inches) is sized for shallow, precise holes typical of circuit board and light fabrication work. This bit is used in electronics manufacturing, precision machining shops, and light industrial applications where hole location accuracy and clean exit geometry are critical.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement for Series 105 circuit board drill bits with a 1/8-inch shank diameter, compatible with standard CNC and manual drill spindles accepting that shank size.
This bit is installed by qualified machinists or electronics assembly technicians into a compatible drill chuck or collet. Confirm the spindle accepts a 1/8-inch shank before seating. Secure the shank fully and verify runout before beginning a production run. Solid carbide tooling is brittle — avoid side loading or using this bit in a hand-held drill; use only in a rigid machine setup.
