The SGS 07381 is a solid carbide circuit board drill bit designed for precision drilling in printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication and electronic assembly applications. With a 2.65 mm (0.1043 inch) cutting diameter and a 130-degree four-facet point, it delivers clean entry and accurate hole placement in thin, layered substrate materials. The uncoated solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and edge retention necessary for small-diameter, high-speed drilling. Overall length is 1-1/2 inches (38.10 mm), with a 1/8-inch shank diameter and a 0.40-inch flute length. This bit is suited for use in CNC drill spindles and bench-top PCB drilling machines.
The SGS 07381 fits standard PCB drilling operations in electronics manufacturing, prototype shops, and contract assembly environments. Its regular spiral with a 30-degree helix angle and tapered web configuration make it effective across a wide range of workpiece materials including fiberglass-reinforced laminates, plastics, copper foil layers, and aluminum substrates. It is also rated for use in alloy steels, stainless steel, cobalt alloys, nickel, titanium, and cast iron, making it versatile beyond dedicated PCB work. The right-hand cutting direction is compatible with conventional CNC and manual drill spindle rotation.

Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by a qualified machinist or electronics fabrication technician familiar with CNC or manual PCB drilling equipment. Secure the 1/8-inch shank firmly in the appropriate collet or chuck before operation and verify spindle runout is within acceptable limits, as excessive runout will cause premature breakage at this diameter. Power down and de-energize the drilling machine before changing bits. Consult the machine manufacturer and applicable shop safety standards for appropriate feed rates and spindle speeds for solid carbide tooling at this diameter.
